One of my good friends, Janie @ John Krasinski Web recently moved her media vault (which is similar to ours) to a youtube like media vault, where you can directly view the videos on the server (thus you never have to download winzip files again). I initially was hesitant but I wanted to ask you guys what you thought...so feel free to vote and if you want, comment your ideas and suggestions.

Affiliate Cleanout!

So I went through our top affiliates today and it was frightening how many sites had been closed and were still listed including one of my "elite" affiliates. I have cleaned out all sites that were not currently linking us back on the mainpage (top affiliates) as well as dead sites. What does this mean? Well it means now, that top affiliation is open for applicants (only one elite spot is open but invite only) but not everyone is accepted. I am going to clean out affiliates in the coming days.

Damon put baby hand-me-downs on eBay for charity

LOS ANGELES — Matt Damon's diaper bag, Julianne Moore's high chair, Elisabeth Hasselbeck's car seat and other celebrity baby hand-me-downs are going up for auction on eBay.

Famous parents donated their used baby items to Johnson's Celebrity Hand Me Down Auction, which will benefit such charities as March of Dimes, Save the Children, Zero to Three and Baby Buggy. The online auction begins April 29 and ends May 9.

Damon provided his black, messenger-style baby bag while Moore, a mother of two, donated a beachwood highchair that she calls her daughter Liv's special "sit at the table with the grown-ups" chair. Mariska Hargitay from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit gave an Adidas track suit outfit worn by her son, August.

"It is important to pass certain things on from one generation to the next," Hasselbeck, who donated a car seat, said in a statement. "I still have a children's bracelet that my mother gave to me, which I will pass on to my daughter one day. There is something priceless about having certain things around you which tell a story."

Other celebrities participating in the auction include Shark actress Jeri Ryan and recent mother Elisabeth Rohm.

Matt Damon leads star-studded protests on Darfur

Caring campaigner Matt Damon has led a host of international celebrities backing protests against the war in Darfur.

In a series of powerful images, Matt and a variety of famous faces - including Thandie Newton, Joely Richardson and Jemima Khan - are seen destroying toys and setting fire to children's drawings. The pictures, released to coincide with Sunday's global day of protest, are a symbol of the suffering of the youngsters in the troubled region.

"After the genocide in Rwanda we all shook our heads and said never again," said Matt. "Today, as killings mount in Darfur, we need to make never again a priority and demand protection for the most vulnerable."

Earlier in the week, Matt's fellow Darfur campaigner George Clooney met with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown to discuss the Sudanese region.

Backing Sunday's Global Day For Darfur, the screen star, who has worked tirelessly for a resolution to the crisis, called for more people to speak out.

"If we all raise our voices, the international community will have to listen and respond," he said.

As co-founders of the Not On My Watch initiative, handsome humanitarians George and Matt have helped raise more than £4.5 million for Darfur.

Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney says he helped Matt Damon win the crown of Sexiest Man Alive.

Clooney joked he spent two years giving his Ocean's Eleven co-star a makeover to give him a chance of stealing his title.

Clooney was named Sexiest Man Alive by US magazine People in 2006 but was pipped to the post in 2007 by the Bourne Identity hero.

Clooney said: "I did work with Matt Damon for a couple of years. I worked on his walk and got some dye in his hair and he won this year.

"I'm fond of the idea that I could teach someone how to do that and they could go on to greatness," he said on ITV's This Morning.

Hey everyone! I have been so so busy at school but I am on break now, and I know I have a ton of stuff to do so I am starting small right now. I am adding Matt's infamous acceptance speech at the Oscars. I have rewatched it a whole bunch of times and I love it!! I am sure that it will allways be a classic Oscar moment, they both are so worthy, it was just perfect. I think its about time, we had it in our Media Vault. A small note, I have deleted a TON of spammers in the vault so if you accidentally got deleted (and you are not a spammer), then I am sorry please re-register. Clooney, Pitt, Damon donate $500,000 to Darfur

Washington, Mar 14 : Celebrity donations are not a new thing in Hollywood, and now it was the turn of a charity co-founded by George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Don Cheadle to put their money for a noble cause.

The charity, known as 'Not On Our Watch', dished out a whopping 500,000 dollars to the United Nations World Food Program to combat the food problem in Darfur, Sudan.

U.N.'s food aid agency will be utilising this amount to prevent hunger in the troubled Darfur region of Sudan.

"Without immediate additional funding, humanitarian aid in the region will be crippled," Contactmusic quoted Clooney, as saying in a statement.

'Not On Our Watch' has already raised more than 9.3 million dollars for Darfur, and donated 1 million dollars to the World Food Program last year (07).

Clooney has recently filmed a documentary about the crisis in Sudan last year and has certainly become a strong supporter for action against the genocide.

Affleck, Damon promote Obama ad contest

LOS ANGELES, March 13 (UPI) -- U.S. celebrities Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Oliver Stone and John Legend have signed on to promote the "Obama in 30 Seconds" TV ad contest.

The competition invites supporters of U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama to create 30-second spots demonstrating what inspires them about the senator's candidacy.

MoveOn said it will then buy time to run the winning ad on national television.

"Since creative and grassroots energy has helped power Barack Obama's campaign from the start, this contest is a great way to deliver that message of hope to voters in Pennsylvania and across the nation," Eli Pariser, executive director of MoveOn, said in a statement.

"MoveOn's 'Obama in 30 seconds' ad contest is a chance for everyone, from aspiring filmmakers to armchair pundits, to raise their voices to put Obama over the top and help make history," Affleck added.

"I think this contest is a powerful way for ordinary citizens to be involved in an extraordinary moment in our history," said Legend. "I'm thrilled to be a part of it."

The ads, which can be submitted at http://www.obamain30seconds.org/ starting March 27, will be judged by a celebrity panel that includes Affleck, Damon, Legend, Stone, Moby, Steve Buscemi, Eddie Vedder and others.

Hollywood actor Matt Damon has revealed that he likes to discuss family tips with Brad Pitt because he considers the latter to be a great father.

Matt Damon, whose wife Luciana is pregnant with their second child, has revealed that Pitt's hands are full of advices on fatherhood.

"We get our kids together when we're in the same country. He has his hands full. There's no advice I'd give him - he's getting on with it and doing great," the Mirror quoted him as saying.

Damon and Luciana already have a one-year-old daughter, Isabella,

Luciana also has a nine-year-old daughter Alexia from her previous marriage.

As reports of Bourne 4 being made spread around, a very surprised Matt Damon clarifies with the media that these are just stories without any truth in it.

Talking to Empire magazine, he says, "We are all for doing a forth movie, but we need to come up with a good story first. There is a lot to happen before we would sign up for it. We love our series, and none of us would want to go again unless we're sure there's a worthwhile film and that could take some time".

Matt Damon's family is expanding: The actor and wife Luciana are expecting another baby, his rep Jennifer Allen tells PEOPLE exclusively.

"They couldn't be happier," says Allen. "They're so excited!"

The current PEOPLE Sexiest Man Alive, 37, and his wife, 32, stepped out Sunday night at the Empire Film Awards in London – with Luciana glowing (and sporting a baby bump).

This is the third child for the family: Daughter Isabella was born in June 2006, and Luciana has a 9-year-old daughter, Alexia, from a previous marriage.

The actor is currently shooting the CIA thriller Green Zone in Morocco.

Matt Damon To Reprise Role In Fourth Bourne Movie

Los Angeles - (eCanadaNow) - Hollywood Matt Damon will reprise his role as Jason Bourne for yet another installment of the popular Bourne series, Universal Pictures announced yesterday.

Paul Greengrass, who helmed Bournes two and three, will return to the director's chair for part four, based on the book The Bourne Legacy.

There are two other Bourne novels after that, so don't be too surprised if Damon returns twice more after this.

On Sunday night, the latest of Jason Bourne’s international exploits won three Academy Awards:Best Sound Editing, Best Film Editing and Best Sound Mixing.

PepsiCo adds sparkle to clean water initiative

PepsiCo will launch a partnership on Tuesday with the Earth Institute at Columbia University and Matt Damon, the Hollywood actor, to bring clean water to communities in Africa, China, India and Brazil.

The announcement is being made on the eve of the World Economic Forum in Davos as an example of the event’s theme of “collaborative innovation”. It will see the US soft drinks and snacks group inject management expertise and $8m (€5.5m, £4.1m) in cash into two long-term water projects.

The Earth Institute will receive much of the funding, from PepsiCo’s charitable foundation, while Mr Damon’s H20 Africa charity will receive $2.5m from PepsiCo’s corporate budget. The funds will be used to improve sanitation, access to drinking water and crop yields through irrigation.

“Pepsi is dwarfing all our efforts in the last two years [but] it’s not just a cheque,” said Mr Damon, whose charity had raised “a couple of million dollars” since its launch in 2006. “I’m hoping this is a beacon everyone else succumbs to by irresistible example.”

Mr Damon, whose charity helps provide wells on farms and sanitation in countries from Mali to Uganda, said the support of a large corporate partner meant that “suddenly the whole morass looks like an equation that has a solution”.

The involvement of the film star would help spread the message about the urgency of providing clean supplies to the estimated 1.1bn people currently without access to safe drinking water, Ms Nooyi said.

“If Indra Nooyi says this is important it means squat, but if Matt Damon [endorses it] all of a sudden it reaches a much larger group of people in a more cost-effective way,” she said.

Mr Damon agreed, saying: “You get a certain amount of celebrity capital and you can choose to spend it however you want. You can sell shampoo or try and enrich yourself. You can do a lot of things, but this is a great way to spend that capital.”

I bet that a lot of you guys have already seen the video, but if you did not know. Sarah Silverman, Jimmy Kimmel's girlfriend made a music video called "I am f+ckin' Matt Damon" which aired on Jimmy's anniversary show. Matt Damon is actually in it and it SO FUNNY! I was having technical difficulties so thank you to Marcie for getting it done for all of us.
