Matt Damon's Dirty Laundry

Compared with his bad-boy pal Ben Affleck, Matt Damon comes off as squeaky clean. But is he?
We did a little hunting and found that nice boy Damon, now in the new "The Brothers Grimm," may be hiding a few things in his closet.

Blow-off artist
His love affair with Minnie Driver ended in a rather abrupt way; he announced it to Oprah Winfrey before he told his "Good Will Hunting" co-star Driver. Damon maintained he and Driver were on the outs before the "Oprah" broadcast. But Driver did little to support his claims. In fact, she said: "It's unfortunate that Matt went on 'Oprah.' It seemed like a good forum for him to announce to the world that we were no longer together, which I found fantastically inappropriate. Of course, he was busy declaring his love for me on 'David Letterman' a month previously."

He can't always pick a winner
While we give Damon props for his roles in "Good Will Hunting" and "The Bourne Supremacy," we do take issue with some stinkers Beantown's golden boy has on his resume. We'll start with the existential, pretentious "Gerry" that he co-wrote and co-starred in with Affleck's' brother Casey. Two hours of two guys walking in the desert. And there's no excuse for "The Legend of Bagger Vance."

About those 'office' affairs ...

Damon seems to have an affection for co-workers. He likes to date any female co-star. Let's take a look at his past: "All the Pretty Horses," Penelope Cruz; "Good Will Hunting," Minnie Driver; "The Rainmaker," Claire Danes. We are pretty sure the rumors of his relationship with Greg Kinnear were just rumors.

Pick a weight -- and keep it
Damon's weight has been up and down, all in the name of acting. He lost 30 pounds for his role in "The Talented Mr. Ripley." Lost 22 pounds for "The Bourne Supremacy." Dropped 40 pounds for his role as a Gulf War veteran in "Courage Under Fire." And we won't even go into his mane issue; he shaved it bald for "Eurotrip."

Almost there
Damon could have been a Harvard grad if he just applied himself. The degree-challenged Damon dropped out just 12 credits short of graduating. He left to pursue his "acting" career. OK, maybe that wasn't a bad choice after all.
