So I went through our top affiliates today and it was frightening how many sites had been closed and were still listed including one of my “elite” affiliates. I have cleaned out all sites that were not currently linking us back on the mainpage (top affiliates) as well as dead sites. What does this mean? Well it means now, that top affiliation is open for applicants (only one elite spot is open but invite only) but not everyone is accepted. I am going to clean out affiliates in the coming days.

Matt Damon leads star-studded protests on Darfur

Caring campaigner Matt Damon has led a host of international celebrities backing protests against the war in Darfur.
In a series of powerful images, Matt and a variety of famous faces—including Thandie Newton, Joely Richardson and Jemima Khan—are seen destroying toys and setting fire to children’s drawings. The pictures, released to coincide with Sunday’s global day of protest, are a symbol of the suffering of the youngsters in the troubled region.
“After the genocide in Rwanda we all shook our heads and said never again,” said Matt. “Today, as killings mount in Darfur, we need to make never again a priority and demand protection for the most vulnerable.”
Earlier in the week, Matt’s fellow Darfur campaigner George Clooney met with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown to discuss the Sudanese region.
Backing Sunday’s Global Day For Darfur, the screen star, who has worked tirelessly for a resolution to the crisis, called for more people to speak out.
“If we all raise our voices, the international community will have to listen and respond,” he said.

Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney says he helped Matt Damon win the crown of Sexiest Man Alive.
Clooney joked he spent two years giving his Ocean’s Eleven co-star a makeover to give him a chance of stealing his title.
Clooney was named Sexiest Man Alive by US magazine People in 2006 but was pipped to the post in 2007 by the Bourne Identity hero.
Clooney said: “I did work with Matt Damon for a couple of years. I worked on his walk and got some dye in his hair and he won this year.
“I’m fond of the idea that I could teach someone how to do that and they could go on to greatness,” he said on ITV’s This Morning.
