If Matt Damon wants to find out anything about his wife’s pregnancy he just needs to ask their kids.
“They track its progress in mommy’s belly,” he said Saturday while attending the Ante Up for Africa charity poker event in Las Vegas.
His wife, Luciana, is set to deliver the couple’s fourth child this fall. They currently have three daughters: Alexia, 11, who is Luciana’s child from a previous marriage, Isabella, 4, and Gia, 22 months.
The kids “are very excited” about another addition to the family, Damon, 39, said.
But being a family man and major motion picture star isn’t easy for the former Sexiest Man Alive. Damon credits “a great wife” for helping him juggle his responsibilities.
“She really keeps it together,” he said at the poker event at the Rio All Suites Hotel, hosted by Oceans 11 pal Don Cheadle. “We just talk it out and work it all out. You say, this is the job and this is the time commitment and this is where it will be. I’m a lot easier to hire if you’re doing movies in New York.”

Exclusive: Matt Damon’s Wife Is Pregnant Again!

2010
Matt Damon and his wife Luciana are expecting another baby, his rep confirms to UsMagazine.com exclusively.
His rep tells Us, “Everyone is excited.”
Damon, 39, and Luciana, 34, are parents to Isabella, 3, and Gia, 21 months. Luciana has a daughter, Alexia, 11, from a previous marriage.
Damon — who quietly wed Luciana at NYC City Hall in December 2005 — has credited his kids with keeping him grounded in Hollywood.
“It’s pretty easy to kind of lose your way… having kids is really helpful,” he told Parade magazine. “They kind of disabuse you of the notion of your greatness pretty quickly. There’s a routine that you get into with kids that precludes you from going back to your single days. I’m probably more boring than I used to be. I go to bed earlier and I get up earlier.”
He said he hopes his daughters take after their mother. ”My wife is a very wise and a very thoughtful person. Hopefully, they’ll inherit that,” Damon said.
Added the actor (who supports charities including One, which fights AIDS and poverty in third world countries): “From me, I hope they’ll inherit a sense of social justice and a desire to continue some of those programs that I’m involved with. Maybe not those exact ones, but hopefully, something to further social justice.”
Congratulations to the Damon family!!

MATT DAMON’S CHILDREN UNAWARE HE’S AN ACTOR
18
March
2010
MATT DAMON’s children are unaware their dad is a famous movie star – because they’re so used to seeing themselves on screen as a result of new technology.
The Bourne Identity star wants to keep his children in the dark about his Hollywood status for as long as possible.
His 11-year-old stepdaughter, Alexia, has seen Damon in a couple of his movies and understands he acts for a living.
But he is thankful technology such as IPhones and BlackBerrys are duping his younger children with wife Luciana – three-year-old Isabella and Gia, one.
He says, “The 11 year old obviously knows. She hasn’t seen all the movies but has seen enough to know that’s what I do. The little ones don’t have any idea – we’re trying to keep it that way.
“It’s more and more possible now with the prevalence of video cameras and technology, iPhones and BlackBerrys. Kids are used to seeing their own images on screens. So when they see me on a screen, it kind of makes sense for them: ‘Yeah, he’s on that TV and I’m on this laptop.’”

Matt Damon’s Australian invasion on board The World cruise ship
30
December
2009
HOLLYWOOD star Matt Damon looks to be headed to Sydney for New Year’s Eve on board one of the most luxurious private ocean liners on the planet.
After charming the locals at Batemans Bay this week, Damon (or a man who looked suspiciously like him) happily signed autographs for staff and customers at the Batehaven Fish Shop on Sunday, warmly responding and signing the megastar’s name before signing a petition to support a local delicacy – vodka dipping sauce. Yesterday came yet another sighting.
“He came in and we recognized him and he was after some prawns,” fish shop owner Bluey Hetherington told Confidential.
“He tried our vodka sauce and really liked it. We want to get the sauce into supermarkets and we have a book in the shop for people to sign and endorse it. We have names of people from all over the world.
“He wrote ‘Awesome – Matt Damon and daughter from the USA’ and I’ve laminated that page.”
Visitor Maureen French told Confidential she spotted Damon in Batemans Bay yesterday and he happily signed an autograph for her.
“He said he was here holidaying with his family and loving it – he was a really nice bloke,” Ms French said.
Damon, or his doppelganger, is one of 250 passengers and crew on the private cruise ship The World, which is made up of privately owned cabins, some of which are rented for between $1000 and $2000 a day.
It spent Sunday and Monday moored in Batemans Bay after arriving from Eden having first tailed the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race out of Sydney. Late yesterday it was making it’s way back up the south coast headed to Sydney where it will arrive in Darling Harbour at 1pm on Thursday for the New Year’s Eve fireworks.
Damon, who has previously been to Australia to promote films, looks to have become a frequent albeit silent visitor to these shores.
This time last year Confidential took telephone calls concerning Damon hiring a house on the Northern Beaches.

Damon’s dirty dancing with wife

November

The couple, which married in December 2005, visited Manhattan’s Hustler Club with friends, according to the New York Daily News.
Bosses reportedly made a special exception for the Bourne Identity star when his wife began to grind against him, stealing the spotlight from the professional dancers.
A source tells the publication, “They got there after 11pm and stayed for two-and-a-half hours. He bought dances for his friends. His wife was dancing for him. The club normally doesn’t allow civilians to dance, but they made an exception for him.”

My mom told me to follow Gandhi – Matt Damon
1
November
2009
Matt Damon says Gandhi inspired him to get involved in humanitarian work.
The ‘Bourne Ultimatum’ actor – who works closely with Water.org and the ONE campaign – revealed his mother Nancy taught him to help others from a young age, just like peaceful civil rights leader Gandhi.
He told Parade magazine: “When I was a boy, my mom had a magnet on the refrigerator with a little picture of Gandhi along with a quote from him. It said, ‘No matter how insignificant what you do may seem, it is important that you do it’.
“As a child, I was raised to believe that, and to this day I do my best to live it.
“It’s really powerful when you get to meet the people and shake their hands and listen to their stories.”
The 39-year-old star – whose philanthropic work includes raising awareness about the global water crisis, extreme poverty and AIDS – is determined to ensure his children are also instilled with the desire to give something back to those less fortunate.
Matt – who raises three children, 11-year-old Alexia, Isabella, three, and 14-month-old Gia Zavala, with his wife Luciana – added: “I can’t think of any more important value to instil in our children than the desire to help others.
“I feel strongly about setting an example for them. Real problems can be solved by the next generation if we instil in them the right values. I’m not a politician, and I don’t want to tell anybody how to live.
“But I must say, all these years later, I still think Gandhi had the right idea. No matter how small the contribution we make may seem, it’s crucial that we all do our part.
“In the future, I know these trips are something we’ll do as a family.” – BANG Media International

MATT DAMON’S SISTER AUDITIONED TO PLAY HIS LOVER, BY MISTAKE
28
October
2009
MATT DAMON’s stepsister was stunned when she landed an audition for the Hollywood star’s new movie – and was told she’d be playing his lover.
Model-turned-actress Sarah Bradford, 22, grew up with the Oscar winner, after her mother and his father married.
She insists she’s never used Damon to help her progress in Hollywood, and earned an audition for a role in The Adjustment Bureau through her own hard work.
But she was shocked when casting bosses told her she would have to jump into bed with her sibling.
Bradford tells New York magazine, “Five months ago I went in for a reading for this movie Matt’s in, The Adjustment Bureau. It’s in production right now in New York.
“It was for a character called Elise – she is basically queen bee at this ballet academy – and all of a sudden they say, ‘Are you aware that if you get this role, you’ll be playing Matt’s love, having a love affair with your brother.’
“My jaw dropped.”
Fortunately the sordid story ended on a positive note for the young actress: “I just read for a more appropriate role in the movie, Elise’s friend, and I got the part. It’s very exciting. What parents wouldn’t want their children to work together.”

Matt Damon’s family emergency

October
2009
Matt Damon had to pull out of a charity fundraiser because of a “family emergency of a serious nature”.
The ‘Bourne Ultimatum’ star was due to host an event for OneXOne – a charity which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of impoverished children around the world – in San Francisco tonight (23.10.09) but instead had to return to his home in Boston yesterday evening (22.10.09).
Representatives for the 39-year-old actor have revealed the emergency didn’t involve any of his children with wife Luciana Bozan – Isabella, three, and 14-month-old Gia Zavala.
Charlize Theron is expected to attend the gala. Meanwhile, Hollywood director Steven Soderbergh has praised Matt for his fantastic work ethic on new movie ‘The Informant!’.
Soderbergh, who also directed Damon in ‘Oceans Eleven’, said: “It was such an odd story and it required a certain kind of performance “In this case, having worked with him was a huge benefit because we had to move so quickly.”
